Looking at resurrecting the code in 2022 by request

Actions

• Scheduling code
  • ext/PHPExcel
    • code is deprecated - there is an almost drop-in replacement which allows newer php
    • had to replace lots of curly braces with brackets for array references
• Data
  • Events Export appears to be different than several years ago
• Wiki had broken styling
  • newer server security was impacting the super old code
  • updated wiki from 1.26.2 to 1.38.4
    • Note: each stage update needs a php-fpm restart as the db connection is maintained (at least for sqlite)
    • Involved process - had to resolve various issues
      • Caching issue: added mwMessageCacheType CACHE_NONE

• Events report is not complete (only 85 events), mostly opening day events.
