Agenda

  • larger tournament pool layout options
    • Go over how it would work
      • Pros
        • possibly simpler and scales reasonably well
      • Cons
        • Have to solve individual cases
        • Have to figure out how to muck with team/site order for repeat tournaments
  • revisit redesign of intrasite game pages
  • look into options for instructional summary
    • specialized days don't match well (photo day, bring a friend day)
    • What about numbering practice events to match red book? Possibly too much of a pain.
  • Mobile website
    • mwf.usyvl.org - host a copy of the mobile web framework there (open source)
    • m.usyvl.org - mobile site
      • Scheduling routines would drop a data(base?) file on m.usyvl.org
        • mobile site would use this file/database to display appropriate info.
        • would point to pdf files on www.usyvl.org....
  • Need to schedule some downtime for clone.crustal
    • Need to do this in the next 2 weeks or so
    • Who do I need to coordinate with?
  • Perfect Forms Review
  • Rainier Discussion
  • CallFire SMS & Voice Call (Post voice call messages on website)
  • Joomla site - progress - ideas for moving forward
  • Linux VM, USYVL hardware, goDaddy hosting of scheduling software etc...

Action Items generated from meeting

  • Move forward with mobile app, likely worthwhile
  • 2012-06-09 Fountain Valley tournament pool #3 issue, forgotten what the issue is, hopefully obvious... likely something about inter site match ups
  • custom game editor
    • highlight cross division matches (already done)
    • Issues at Agoura Hills Spring 2012 season
  • coordinate downtime of clone.crustal with Randy
  • test multi season display on usyvl.org at some point
  • email Randy about possible hardware to run at home base (Mac/Linux)
    • was hoping that USYVL IT support was up to doing a CentOS VM on the main hardware, but sounds like not yet
